Peonies Wedding
The most beautiful peony wedding you could ever dream of
The peony is one of the most sought-after wedding flowers, and many designers often find themselves putting together a peony wedding. If a complete wedding designer just isn’t in your budget, then it’s also very easy to create a peony wedding on your own. All you need to do is purchase the peonies from your florist and then enlist the help of your wedding party to put the pieces together. If you decide to use silk peonies, then your task is even easier because it can be done well in advance of the wedding instead of the day before, like fresh flowers will need to be.
Planning a peony wedding pretty much allows you to go wild with your imagination and peonies. Let’s start with center pieces for the reception hall. One of the simplest things you can do is to purchase vases, fill them with peonies, and place them on the tables. You can purchase very cheap, plastic vases they look very nice, or you can buy more expensive ones that are glass. Either way, you’ll be saving plenty of money off of letting a florist make them for you. The only thing that changes is the amount of money you’ll be saving.
The next step is your peony wedding bouquet. It’s really a good idea to allow a florist to make it for you. If your other peony wedding flowers are fresh, then the one place you might really want to go silk is in your wedding bouquet. Silk is certainly more expensive than fresh flowers, but it keeps forever without having to take the time to dry it out carefully and preserve it in a dried state. Your silk peony wedding bouquet will be just as beautiful on your 20th wedding anniversary as it was on the day you got married if you store it properly and take care of it.
Another place you may want to have flowers is inside the church. However, this is negotiable, and there are some ways you can double up on the use of the flowers for the church by also using them in the reception hall. You also may want to just pass on flowers at the church, other than a couple of arrangements at the front of the hall. After all, how much attention do people pay to those little things on the ends of the aisles anyway?
It all just depends on how much money you have to spend and how much money you’re willing to spend on flowers. Having a peony wedding is a reality any woman can realize, whether or not she has plenty of money to spend on flowers. One thing you should keep in mind if you’re planning a peony wedding is whether the flower is in season. If you’re planning a wedding in the middle of January, then peonies might end up being a budget buster. Peonies are in season in June through September, so if you feel they are a must for your wedding, then you may want to stick to those months to cut costs.
